Hoyne Street Playgroup is a parent-run, teacher-led community that has been engaging families for over 40 years. It is a place where magic and wonder meets intent and learning. Located in the Logan Square neighborhood, we embrace our urban environment and recognize all the advantages of raising children in the City of Chicago. As a community, we have made a clear choice to be directly involved in our children’s early education.
Our teachers are passionate, caring, and of the highest caliber. The spirit and energy of Hoyne Street Playgroup is unique and worth every ounce of extra love and care that is expected from our Co-op structure. Each family directly contributes to the administrative duties of managing the school, and this level of parent involvement sets us apart from other local childcare centers. We are able to offer affordable, high quality childcare while building community with our co-op families and teachers.
